Consignment Agreement
Items must be current styles, free of wrinkles or stains, and in lie-new condition. Bring in at least 5 freshly laundered items for consideration. Clothing should be neatly folded in a basket or tote. If any accepted items are later found to have flaws, they may be donated at any time.
Pricing will be determined solely by Marie Rose Fine Consignment, Inc. Markdowns will occur as follows: 15% reduction after 20 days, 30% reduction after 45 days. Periodic promotional sales and discounts may also apply. The consignment period is 60 days.
Any items over $25 not retrieved by the end of the consignment period will become property of Marie Rose Fine Consignments, Inc., and may be donated at the company’s discretion.
Consignors will receive the following percentage of the net sale price:
40% for items priced under $100, 50% for items priced over $100. A $1.99 handling fee will be added to the ticket price, paid by the consumer.Marie Rose Fine Consignments, Inc., assume no liability for loss or damage to items due to any cause. Consignors should consult their homeowner’s insurance if concerned about coverage. All reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of merchandise.
Consignors may collect payment in the boutique. Payments must be picked up within one year of the sale or will be forfeited.
A $10 early withdrawal fee will apply for any items removed before the end of the 60-day consignment contract.
Consignors wishing to retrieve unsold items above the price of $25 at the end of the consignment period must contact the boutique two days prior to arrange pickup time.
